Fraley and Schilling operates a large fleet of tractors and a variety of makes and models of dry van trailers.
The company fleet includes 53’, 48’, and 42’ ultra-light vans. The vans are equipped with D-ring tie downs. A common question we hear is “What is a D-ring tie down?” Simply put, a D-ring tie down is the safest and most efficient way of securing freight inside a van trailer. Using the nylon strap tie-down idea of our flatbed fleet, we equip vans with metal rings secured to the trailer floor. The straps ratchet tightly over the cargo inside and eliminate the need for the shipper to block or brace a load.
Fraley and Schilling’s van fleet consists of late model Freightliner, Peterbilt, and Kenworth tractors accompanied by air-ride 53’, 48’, and 42’ ultra-light vans. Drivers are equipped with 10 nylon ratchet straps.
